To create a custom approval policy and determine to which roles it applies, perform the following steps:
1. From the Organize tab in your Tool Bar, click Client Settings.
2. In the Client Settings menu, click the Approval Policy Configuration link.
The Approval Policy Configuration screen opens.
3. In the Custom Approval Policies section, click the Create a new rule link.
4. In the Policy Name section, enter a Policy Name.
5. In the Order Rules section:
a. In the Transaction Type row, click the Edit link, use the available checkboxes to select the transaction types to which the policy will apply, and click the Done link.
b. In the Carrier row, click the Edit link, use the available checkboxes to select the carriers to which the policy will apply, and click the Done link.
c. In the Device Type row, click the Edit link, use the available checkboxes to select the device types to which the policy will apply, and click the Done link.
d. In the Upgrade Eligibility row, click the Edit link, use the checkboxes to select whether or not the policy applies to Upgrade Eligible and/or Non Upgrade Eligible devices, and click the Done link.
e. In the Total Price row, click the Edit link, select a price type, select whether it is greater or less than, enter a number for the amount in your base currency, and click the Done link.
f. In the Policy Exception row, click the Edit link, use the checkboxes to select whether or not the policy applies to In Policy and/or Out of Policy devices, and click the Done link.
6. In the Other Rules section:
a. Click the Add button.
You may click the Add button as many times as you need to include all the rules you want for this availability policy.
b. Select a Condition Type from the drop-down list.
Depending on your selection, the Condition Type drop-down list may allow you to choose additional parameters.
c. Select an Operator from the drop-down list.
The available operators depend on your Condition Type selection.
d. Select a Value from the drop-down list.
The available values depend on your Operator selection.
e. Click the Done link.
7. In the Approval Roles section:
a. Click the Edit link to assign approvers to the new approval policy.
b. When you have finished assigning approvers, click the Done link.
8. Click the Save button to save your new approval policy.
