The Master Catalog is maintained with all devices available in the market. Master Catalog functions allow you to copy devices to any or all of your Company Catalogs (see Company Catalog).
To use your Master Catalog features, perform the following steps:
1. From the Procure tab in your Tool Bar, click Device Catalog.
2. In the Device Catalog screen:
a. Select the Master Catalog radio button.
b. Enter or select your search parameters including Manufacturer, Make and Model, Device Type, Carrier, Tech Type, Label, Retail Price, and/or Adjusted Price.
Search parameters help you limit the number of devices returned by your query. You may include parameters designed to return a specific group of devices. You do not need to enter or select any parameters. The length of time taken to return search results is proportional to detail you provide.
All text entry fields are wildcard enabled. You may use asterisks to search by partial field, for example: *415* or smi*.
c. Enter the number of devices you would like to display on a single page.
d. Click the Search button.
Up to 250 devices will be displayed. You will prompted you to refine your search parameters if your criterion returns too many results.
You may click a device link to open the Device Detail window where you may view information including retail, 1 year, and 2 year pricing (when available).
e. To add a device to a Company Catalog, select the Company Catalog box(es) (Existing Service Catalog, New Activation Catalog, Employee Direct Catalog) to which you want to copy.
If the device already exists in the Company Catalog, you will be alerted. Rather than copying a new version of the device from the Master Catalog, you may save time and copy it from the Company Catalog.
f. Click the Copy button to open your Company Catalog.
