Add Asset

The following procedure guides you through the process of associating an asset (or device) with a user.

Note: Some of the features available in Premium Mobile may be restricted by your administrator.

To quickly associate an asset (or device) with a user, perform the following steps:

1. Begin the Add Asset process in one of the following ways.

·   From your Home page, click the View Profile link to associate an existing asset (or device) with the logged in user.

·   From the Tool Bar, click Organize and Employees to locate the employee with whom you want to associate an existing asset (or device).

2. In the Services and Assets section of the User Profile page, click the Add Service button.

3. In the Add Asset to Employee screen:

a. Enter the Serial Number of the asset or device.

b. Enter the Asset ID.

An Asset ID is a unique identifying number. Your company may use the manufacturer’s serial number or an Asset ID system specific to your company.

c. From the Device Type drop-down list, select the type of device you are associating with the user.

d. From the Device Vendor drop-down list, select the vendor for the device.

e. From the Make & Model drop-down list, select the make and model of the device you are associating with the user.

e. Click the Save button.
