The Edit Service page allows you to easily manage information about the services available in your system.
Note: Some of the features available in Premium Mobile may be restricted by your administrator.
To edit information about the services available in your system, perform the following steps:
1. Open the Edit Service page in one of the following ways:
· From the Organize tab in your Tool Bar, click Services. Use the Services Search tool (see Services) to locate the service you want to edit. Select one or more service check boxes and click the Edit Service(s) icon or hover your cursor over a number link, and from the Service Options, select Edit Service.
· From the User Profile page (see Services and Assets), hover your cursor over a number link, and from the Service Options, select Edit Service.
2. In the Edit Service page:
To help you manage transitions from one carrier to another, the carriers are identified in the following ways. The Current Carrier is the one with which you last completed a procurement transaction. The Billing Carrier is the carrier from which you last received a bill.
Assets related to the service are displayed in the Related Asset section.
The Related User and Related Department sections display the employee or department linked to this service.
The Account History section displays the account history link to view the historical changes of this service.
a. Edit any of the service fields.
b. Click the Related Asset, Related User, Related Department, or View Account History links to:
Link to Asset—This link only appears if the service is not linked to an asset. Allows you to search and select an unserviced asset belonging to the employee that you would like to link to the service (see Link Service to Asset).
Edit Asset—Allows you to edit the asset currently linked to the service (see Edit Asset).
Link to Different Asset—Allows you to unlink a service from one asset and link it to another unserviced asset belonging to the employee (see Link Service to Asset).
Edit the user (see Edit User Information).
Edit the department (see Org Chart).
View Account History link - Displays the historical changes made to the service. The changes related contract start and end dates, status, alias, and so on are displayed.
c. Click the Save button.
